We Need You Small Business, Step Up.
Can you imagine what it would be like walking around your local community, only to find shop after shop has closed down?
And yet, it is happening all the time.
I think back to buzz and the hum of one of my favorite spots when I walked home from the beach on a hot summer’s day. You were drawn into the atmosphere and of course spending money, along the way.
Not anymore, shops are empty, and those continuing to push through you can see the concerns written on their faces.
My thoughts…for small business
Take some great advice and diversify your income streams.
You know how investment advisers and financial planners tell you to diversify in order to protect against a financial disaster striking one asset.
And, if you remember your history lessons how the ancient Greeks split their merchandise up, when sailing the high seas. They knew if a ship went down they didn’t want to lose the entire cargo.
Diversification just makes good sense. Challenge is, it is never really taught in business.
Remember, nothing is for certain … It can always go wrong and as the old saying goes
“When life looks like easy street. There is danger at the door”
For some, they seem to think the Internet is the danger at the door. Well it is, if you choose to believe that and not to be a part of the change.
Yes, change is frightening and some may find it a threat. But, we all know, there is no point going out to fix the roof when the storm comes.
Fortune Favors The Bold
If you continue to do the same thing you’ve always done you’ll always get the same result.
Small business has the perfect opportunity to be the leaders of their community embracing this change, creating tribes of followers (your passive income customers) and something for others to believe in.
The beauty of business today is innovation and marketing. And the internet provides you with the perfect tools to build your referral communities around you…. Where everyone can win, and everyone who works is compensated.
No more empty shops and broken emotions. The internet provides you with the partnering tools to diversify your income and allowing you to then …
Focus on your customers and view your employees as partners.
The way to succeed in business today is to form success teams or what I like to call Tribes all working together.
